Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers the RhinoByte Digital website (rhinobyte.digital) and how we handle your data in general. Each of our games also has its own privacy policy that explains exactly what that game collects:
Who we are
RhinoByte Digital ("we", "us") is an indie game studio based in Croatia, and is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: rhinobytedig@gmail.com.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers. The site doesn't use cookies or tracking, and it loads nothing from other companies: fonts and images are served from our own site. See the Cookie Policy.
- Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like any web server, it briefly processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the page and protect against abuse. We don't use this data to identify you. See Netlify's privacy policy.
When you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and keep them for as long as needed to deal with your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or taking steps you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)). Our email is provided by Google (Gmail).
Our games
Our games have no accounts and never ask for your name, email or phone number. They may show ads and use analytics and crash reporting from Google (AdMob and Firebase), and ask for your consent where the law requires it (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland). Each game's own privacy policy lists the details.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how it's processed, ask for a copy of it (data portability), and withdraw any consent you gave, at any time. Email us at rhinobytedig@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Croatia that's AZOP (azop.hr).
Children
Our website and games are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live), and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
